Your Fire Service

Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service has 17 Fire Stations located throughout three local authority areas - Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire. There are 5 wholetime Stations based in Falkirk, Stirling, Larbert, Bo'ness and Alloa. The remaining 12 Stations all operate the retained duty system.

CSFRS has 239 wholetime Firefighters and officers, 144 retained Firefighters and officers and 17 Fire Control staff. In addition a team of 38 support staff, based mainly at Fire Service Headquarters in Maddiston, are also employed in various roles from IT to Finance.

The Service attends hundreds of emergency incidents each year. The majority of calls for assistance are to fires and road traffic collisions but there are also calls for rescues from height and to assist when floods strike. We have highly trained specialist teams to deal with these specific types of emergencies.

Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service exists to help create safer communities, to provide an effective emergency service and to protect local economic, environmental and community interests.
