| The Fire Fighters Charity Background |
 Previously the charity went under the name of "Fire Services National Benevolent Fund" (FSNBF) however following extensive research and consultation with both members of the Fire services and of the public it was decided it was time to change.Although the majority of people the charity helps are serving or retired fire fighters everybody from the fire community is equally entitled to assistance.
