We do this by:

• Putting an ever increasing emphasis on preventing fires and life threatening incidents focussing on those more at risk in our communities.
• Ensuring that those people responsible for the fire safety of their premises are meeting their obligations.
• Understanding youth engagement and other educational work.
• Providing a role model to the community in the way we work and present ourselves.

Within the Safety and Protection section of our website you will find a range of useful information, tips, leaflets and schemes to help you and those around you keep safe in the event of a fire or life threatening incident.
