Our Equality and Diversity Impact Assessments have been aptly re-named People Impact Assessments.
If a policy or practice affects the people within our communities in any way, we have a responsibility to make sure we know the positive and negative impacts it may have on different sectors of the population. People are not the same and policies and practices should reflect the different needs communities may have. This includes our employees, who deserve to work in an environment free from discrimination either directly or indirectly through our policies and practices.
