CSFRS have a Press Officer to liaise with media organisations on a day-to-day basis. This can include giving statements and images to media organisations to highlight a particular campaign being run by the organisation or giving details on a particular incident of public interest.
In the event of any major incident the primary role of this web site will be modified to distribute information and safety advice to the local community. Press releases can also be accessed by this rss feed .

Thomas Mann will retire from Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service on the 14th May having completed 30 years of Service and 4 years as a Principal Officer.
Mr Mann joined the fire service in 1978 first serving at the old Falkirk fire station. His career took him to the Fire Service College at Gullane as an instructor in 1985 and then on into legislative fire safety.

Road Traffic Collision Involving Fire Engine
Following yesterday tragic incident we can confirm that Firefighter Alan Robertson (age 29) remains in a critical condition in the Southern General Hospital, where he is receiving the best possible care. Firefighter Allan Huntly (age 40) remains in Stirling Royal Infirmary in the High Dependency Unit in a stable condition.

School, Dollar was involved in a fatal collision outside
