Bo'ness Academy Fire (04/12/07)
boness_academy.jpgCentral Scotland Fire and Rescue Service crews are currently attending a fire in a high school in Bo'ness.  The first call to Bo'ness Academy, Gauze Road Boness was received at 12:50 from the School.

Crews from Bo'ness, Falkirk, and Larbert Station are attending at the incident at present. The main seat of the fire has been extinguished and crews are now involved in cutting away and checking for fire spread within the roof of the gym area.

The school was evacuated at the time of call and is now closed for the rest of today. There are no reports of any injuries at this time. Crews are still in attendance and expected to remain for some time. An investigation in to the cause of fire will commence as soon as possible.
