On arrival, it was found that two storage barns approximately 50 x 10
metres were well
alight. At the height of the fire, there were approximately 35 firefighters tackling the blaze from Stirling, Doune, Dunblane, Balfron and Alloa Fire Stations. At 2.41 am there were 6 appliances at the incident including a water carrier and a rescue tender. Unfortunately, there were horses within the barns that could not be saved.
