Fire at new school under construction Maddiston (7/11/07)

Maddiston Primary Fire Fire at Maddiston Primary School

Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service are currently attending a major fire in a new primary school being built in Maddiston near Falkirk. The first call to the fire service was received at 00:57 this morning (7^th November).

On arrival the first crews found the roof of the building well alight. At present 10 fire appliances and 50 fire fighters are at the scene and are expected to remain in attendance for some time.

The 3 story building is still under construction and is not occupied by the education department at this time.
