Firefighters Tackle Farm Fire

Farm Fire at Gargunnock

More than 20 firefighters tackled a fire at a farm near Stirling.

Crews from Stirling, Doune and Alloa were called to the scene on the A811 at Gargunnock at 2.46pm today (Wednesday) where they discovered a farm outbuilding, measuring approximately 20 metres by 30 metres, was fully alight.

A woman was removed from the building by firefighters and was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital by ambulance.

Four appliances and the Water Bowser unit from Larbert were in attendance at the height of the fire.

Crews remained at the scene until 11pm.
