Community Risk Register

Central Scotland Strategic Co-ordinating Group has just published its Community Risk Register. Its purpose is two-fold.  Firstly, it helps to inform the public about the potential hazards that exist in varying degrees within Central Scotland. It seeks to reassure our communities that in the unlikely event they should occur, detailed plans and procedures are in place to provide an effective response   Secondly, it ensures that the resources of partner organisations are focussed on providing the best resilience, response and recovery capabilities possible in respect of the hazards faced.  Click HERE for a copy.

We would like to pass on our deepest sympathy to John's family, friends and colleagues.

Mark is a fire fighter at Alcester Station 37, where we have recently lost two of the four firemen who died at Atherstone-on-Stour.

We understand the shock and grief that you are going through, but you will find great strength and support from John's colleagues at Alloa fire station, your community, the county and indeed the country.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you,John's family, and his colleagues who are injured.

Kindest regards Maggie & Mark Walker.
