Community Risk Register
Central Scotland Strategic Co-ordinating
Group has just published its Community Risk Register. Its purpose is two-fold.
Firstly, it helps to inform the
public about the potential hazards that exist in varying degrees within
Central Scotland. It seeks to reassure our communities that in the
unlikely event they should occur, detailed plans and procedures are in place
to provide an effective response
Secondly, it ensures that the resources of partner organisations are focussed on providing the best resilience, response and
recovery capabilities possible in respect of the hazards
faced.

It was with great sadness that I became aware of the tragic death of Watch Manager John Noble.
Very clearly there is a strong bond between all the emergency services and that is particularly the case in the Central Scotland area where we work exceptionally closely together.
It is a particularly difficult time for Mr Noble's family and as members of the emergency services we can relate to their loss, pain and suffering.
Our thoughts are very much with his family and the officers of Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service.

Johnny, I was privileged to have known you as a friend and work colleague. You enriched the lives of everyone who knew you. You were a dedicated firefighter both technical and practical. I thank you for what you did for me. You will be sadly missed by all. May god bless you and keep you, also Lorraine and family.
