Community Risk Register

Central Scotland Strategic Co-ordinating Group has just published its Community Risk Register. Its purpose is two-fold.  Firstly, it helps to inform the public about the potential hazards that exist in varying degrees within Central Scotland. It seeks to reassure our communities that in the unlikely event they should occur, detailed plans and procedures are in place to provide an effective response   Secondly, it ensures that the resources of partner organisations are focussed on providing the best resilience, response and recovery capabilities possible in respect of the hazards faced.  Click HERE for a copy.

My sincerest condolences to the family of Mr. Noble. I also extend my sadness and prayers to his family and his fellow firefighters injured in this crash.

Please know that the prayers of firefighters throughout the US and the world go with you all. May God bless each and every one of you involved in this tragedy.

May your fond memories of Mr. Noble give you comfort and may all of our prayers to God serve you all better and give some sort of comfort.

It was with deep sadness that I learnt today of the tragic accident which has torn apart the hearts of Central Scotland.
John, you were a Gentleman and a damn fine example of what a Fire and Rescue Officer should be. It was an honour to know you and a priviledge to have worked with you.
I am sorry I cannot pay my respects in person however my thoughts are with you, your family, colleagues and friends at this most difficult time.
