It was an honour to have worked with you all those years ago. A more professional firefighter and gentleman would be hard to find. Our thoughts are with Lorraine and the family.

It was a privilege to know John, one of life’s true gentlemen, a true professional. You will be sadly missed in the Fire and Rescue Service. Words seem so inadequate at a time like this. A very hard time for all involved. My deepest condolences to John’s family. Rest in peace John.
