JNobleRoad Traffic Accident - 23rd January 2008

CSFRS made this book available online for registering condolences in respect of this accident which cost the life of one firefighter and resulted in serious injuries to other members of the Blue Watch crew from Alloa.

The online condolence book here was closed to new messages on Friday 22nd February 2008.

A fund for donations to the firefighters injured in this accident has now been opened. More details are available HERE

I knew John through the many visits he had to the prison. A sad loss to the fire service. My thoughts go to his wife and family at this sad time.

I worked with John both as a retained firefighter @ Tillicoultry and as a prison officer during the time he spent coming into the establishment for various exercises.
A true gentleman who will be sorley missed.
