JNobleRoad Traffic Accident - 23rd January 2008

CSFRS made this book available online for registering condolences in respect of this accident which cost the life of one firefighter and resulted in serious injuries to other members of the Blue Watch crew from Alloa.

The online condolence book here was closed to new messages on Friday 22nd February 2008.

A fund for donations to the firefighters injured in this accident has now been opened. More details are available HERE

We all work closely in the emergency services and this has been a devastating event. Our thoughts are with all John's family, friends and colleagues, and those of his injured colleagues, in this sad and difficult hour.

Such a sad and sudden loss my heart goes out to the family thats left behind.Jock was the same age as myself and my father jim gibsons apprentice at the motor company alloa and my dad helped in getting him into the fire service a job that jock loved if my dad was still alive he would miss jock terribly as will all the gibsons as jock even drove some of us to our weddings.My dad treated jock like one of his own sons.A wonderful life so sadly lost.
