On behalf of myself and White Watch at Springburn, can I send our deepest condolences to John's family, friends and work collegues. A tragic loss to all. Wishing the rest of blue watch our best for a speedy recovery.

Davie Dawson    03 February 2008 17:03 | Red Watch, Alloa
Johnny, there's a huge void at the station now you're gone, but you'll live on in our thoughts. RIP mate.

Sid Duffie    03 February 2008 15:22 | Headquarters
I, like many others had the honour to serve with Johnny. He will never be forgotten for being a true professional and one of the good guys.

My sympathies are with his family at this time

Sid and Anne Marie Duffie

Johnny, it has been an honour to have known you.

Anyone who has ever spent time with you will appreciate what a wonderful guy you were.

You will always be remembered and sadly missed.

As you are now so I shall be,
I prepare myself to follow thee.
