JNobleRoad Traffic Accident - 23rd January 2008

CSFRS made this book available online for registering condolences in respect of this accident which cost the life of one firefighter and resulted in serious injuries to other members of the Blue Watch crew from Alloa.

The online condolence book here was closed to new messages on Friday 22nd February 2008.

A fund for donations to the firefighters injured in this accident has now been opened. More details are available HERE

As a former Police Officer I know of the potential dangers faced by all of the emergency services in everyday working life. Never though would you expect someone to lose their life in these circumstances. Tragedy barely covers it. My thoughts are with John's friends and family.
