Road Traffic Accident - 23rd January 2008
CSFRS made this book available online for registering condolences in respect of this accident which cost the life of one firefighter and resulted in serious injuries to other members of the Blue Watch crew from Alloa.
The online condolence book here was closed to new messages on Friday 22nd February 2008.
A fund for donations to the firefighters injured in this accident has now been opened. More details are available HERE

Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of John Noble, and all on Alloa Blue Watch.
Such a tragedy for all at CSF&RS, my thoughts are with you all at this very very sad time. Special mention to Alan Robertson, i wish him a speedy recovery, he is very much in my thoughts and prayers still.
I hope that Johns family can take some comfort from the admiration and respect that so many people throughout the world had for him, and how this tragedy has touched the lives of people worldwide. It shows just what a fantastic and dedicated guy he was, - always willing to help others and give them the benefit of his knowledge and experience.
Scotland has lost a TRUE hero. R.I.P. John.
