In the minutes hours and days ahead as we celebrate the life of a dedicated firefighterveteran, we choose to honor his life as he lived it... with cerimony and remembrance. We are all brothers in the blood sweat and tears of our profession. God Speed and much love and affection along with prayers for his family and fire service members who are saddened by his loss....

To John's wife and family, I am so very sorry for your loss! While I didn't Know John personally i have been speaking to Gary who worked with him and spoke of him highly. John sounded like a very brave man who was respected by all.
You must be so proud of him. If there is anything I can do to help, please just ask. I lost my husband Craig Lee Paterson Ambulance Technician at Crieff in August 2006 so I know what you are going thro. This life is very short lived as we have found out and the good are taken first. RIP JOHN. I hope Craig is looking after you. Emergency workers together xx
