JNobleRoad Traffic Accident - 23rd January 2008

CSFRS made this book available online for registering condolences in respect of this accident which cost the life of one firefighter and resulted in serious injuries to other members of the Blue Watch crew from Alloa.

The online condolence book here was closed to new messages on Friday 22nd February 2008.

A fund for donations to the firefighters injured in this accident has now been opened. More details are available HERE

I met John only once when he rescued a young girl out of a car crash in Kincardine. The young girl was a looked after child i had been supporting for some years. After the accident and her release from hospital we went to the fire station to personally thank all involved in the rescue. John was humourous and most gracious. I am sure he will be sadly missed.
