Life's a ticking clock, forever changing,
Yet it still brings shock, so soul degrading,
To hear that you are gone.

Visions engross our minds,
The cries of the family you've left behind,
In our hearts you still belong,
Life's a ticking clock

This world deployed a caring man,
Into the arms of devastation,
So now we pray, God lights the way,
To a peaceful congregation.

Where with the angels you will fly,
By the wings that were always there,
Your warmth will light up our darkened sky,
Such a caring man, life's so unfair.

Why does the sun rise, only to set again too soon?
Why do the stars twinkle, only to fade away with the moon?

It wasn't your time to go,
And with each day we'll miss you so.

RIP

a million tears were shed today
as we slowly watched you pass our way
with lumps in our throats and our hands on our heart
saying our final goodbyes
as we watched your depart
through the streets and the passing crowd
still saddened by our loss
but still feeling so proud
proud of the man who gave gave up his life
for the love of his job
his kids and his wife.

"johhny" you were a hero
"johhny" what a send off
