JNobleRoad Traffic Accident - 23rd January 2008

CSFRS made this book available online for registering condolences in respect of this accident which cost the life of one firefighter and resulted in serious injuries to other members of the Blue Watch crew from Alloa.

The online condolence book here was closed to new messages on Friday 22nd February 2008.

A fund for donations to the firefighters injured in this accident has now been opened. More details are available HERE

A definition of a true hero - someone that put his life on hold for others. John was a true hero as are his colleagues and everyone in the fire service.

It is so sad that this world is without him now, but where ever he is, is a better place because he is there.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and fellow firefighters.
