Central Scotland Strategic Co-ordinating Group has just published its Community Risk Register. Its purpose is two-fold.
Firstly, it helps to inform the public about the potential hazards that exist in varying degrees within Central Scotland. It seeks to reassure our communities that in the unlikely event they should occur, detailed plans and procedures are in place to provide an effective response.
Secondly, it ensures that the resources of partner organisations are focussed on providing the best resilience, response and recovery capabilities possible in respect of the hazards faced.
