Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service
Protecting the Heart of Scotland
Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service (CSFRS) exists to help create safer communities, to provide an effective emergency service and to protect local economic, environmental and community interests. The Service is administered from its Headquarters in Maddiston, which is near Falkirk.
The headquarters building sits at the heart of a network of the Services fire stations and is within minutes of the giant petro-chemical complex at Grangemouth, which ranks among the largest in Europe. Along with the docks and timber yards this makes Grangemouth one of the largest fire risk areas in the country.
