Community Risk Register

Central Scotland Strategic Co-ordinating Group has just published its Community Risk Register. Its purpose is two-fold.  Firstly, it helps to inform the public about the potential hazards that exist in varying degrees within Central Scotland. It seeks to reassure our communities that in the unlikely event they should occur, detailed plans and procedures are in place to provide an effective response   Secondly, it ensures that the resources of partner organisations are focussed on providing the best resilience, response and recovery capabilities possible in respect of the hazards faced.  Click HERE for a copy.

Fire Stations and Operational Resources
The area is served by 17 local fire stations comprising of 5 full time and 12 retained stations.  Locations of different fire stations are indicated on the map below.

Click on the station name then again on the station name that appears on the map in the signpost. This will then display information specific to that station including the latest incidents involving that station. Incidents are only displayed on the primary station even though units from other stations, and even other fire services (Lothian and borders, Fife, Strathclyde, etc.), can be involved.
