Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service is continually engaged in work in the community as well as at operational incidents. We endeavour to keep the public up to date with the latest initiatives in fire prevention as well as reporting on the services activities in fighting fires and rescues in the local community. A Press officer, based in the HQ at Maddiston, is responsible for liaison with media agencies in issuing statements related to incidents.
CSFRS have a Press Officer to liaise with media organisations on a day-to-day basis. This can include giving statements and images to media organisations to highlight a particular campaign being run by the organisation or giving details on a particular incident of public interest.
Summary of calls handled by the CSFRS control room. This is a list of incidents dealt with by the services 17 fire stations. For operational reasons the majority of these will only be publicly posted when the incident is deemed closed.
Articles in this section relate to other events and information surrounding the Central Fire Service. This can include news concerning public issues that have an interest to or have an impact on the role, responsibilities and day-to-day operation of the Fire Service.
